Privacy Policy

• Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text.
• Prayer requests. When you submit a prayer request, we collect what you choose to provide: your name (optional — you may submit anonymously), your prayer request, a category, and optionally your email, phone number, and general location. If you choose “Submit anonymously,” your name is hidden from our team.
• Messages. If you correspond with our team about a prayer request by email, we keep those messages so we can follow up with you.
• Learning progress. If you sign in, we record which lessons you’ve opened or marked complete so you can pick up where you left off.
• Technical information. As with most websites, our hosting and service providers may automatically collect limited technical data (such as browser type and general location from your IP address) to keep the Site secure. We store a small amount of information in your browser to keep you signed in and to remember accessibility preferences (such as larger text).

We do not collect payment information, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

We use your information to respond to and pray over your prayer requests; provide the curriculum, meetings, and referrals; maintain your account and learning progress; communicate with you; and keep the Site secure. We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the Site: Supabase (database and authentication), Resend (sending/receiving prayer-related emails), and our website host. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of others.

If you submit anonymously, your name is not shown to our team. If you also provide an email so we can reply, that email is used only by our system to deliver replies — it is not displayed to our team.

You may request to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing prayer@discipleshipnc.com.

We keep prayer requests and related messages for as long as needed to minister to you and for our records, unless you ask us to delete them.

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version here with an updated date.
